This tour gives you the feeling of going back in time and tourists get an opportunity to visit habitat of primitive people, as well as rock paintings in Zarautsay.
Visit to mountain area Baisun, noted by UNESCO and recognized as the place with virgin natural scenery.Folklore-ethnographic show by ensemble "Baisun".
Organization of Denau bazaar visit, where one can buy ancient craftsmanship goods and pay a visit to a studio of hereditary potter-ceramist, which would leave unforgettable memories and sensation of an ancient experience.
It is also possible to witness ancient festive games, such as "kop kari", "ulak" or "goat game" at the bank of Surkhan river, with the participation of 40-50 horse-riders.
In the evening you can visit traditional Uzbek wedding with all related traditional activities, including national clothes, dancing around a bonfire and festive cuisine.
If the tour falls on middle of March, during the celebration of spring Zoroastrian festival Nauruz, it will be possible to take part in preparation of ritual dish "sumalyak".

DETAILED ITINERARY for FOLKLORE-ETHNOGRAPHIC tour
Day 01          TASHKENT
Welcome reception upon arrival. Transfer to hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 02          TASHKENT - TERMEZ (by air)
Breakfast, transfer to airport for HY- 1151 (11:20-13:10) flight to Termez. Arrival and transfer to restaurant. After lunch, visit to archeological museum & drive to Zarautsay (wall paintings). Return to Termez-city for check-in, dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 03          TERMEZ-BAISUN-ARCHEOLOGICAL CAMP (240km)
Breakfast, drive to mountain Baisun. Visit to local bazaar & picnic in the country. Folklore show by ensemble "Baisun". After show, drive to camp & check-in. Evening visit to Uzbek traditional wedding party. Overnight at the camp.

Day 04          ARCHEOLOGICAL CAMP - HANDIZA VILLAGE (100km)
Breakfast, drive to Handiza village (unique waterfall). On the way back, visit to local bazaar & workshop of ceramist in Denau-city. Lunch at the camp. After lunch, folklore show of Denau & Shurchi cities. 17:00 - Start of Uzbek traditional game -"ULOK". Dinner & overnight at the camp.

Day 05          CAMP - SHAHRISABZ (410km)
Early breakfast & drive to Shahrisabz. Lunch & sightseeing. Shakhrisabz is known as the native town of Tamerlane. Visit to Aksaray, Kuk-Gumbaz mosque, Gumbazi Saidon mausoleum, Dorus Saodat complex and Hazrat Imam Mosque. Check in, dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 06          SHAHRISABZ-SAMARKAND (120km)
Breakfast, drive to Samarkand & check-in. (Hotel "###") Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, city tour of Samarkand. Visit Ulugbek observatory (15 th Century), Afrasiab museum with wall paintings and Shahi Zinda mausoleum. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

Day 07          SAMARKAND
Breakfast, visit to Registan Square, Bibi Khanum mosque, bazaar and Gur Emir Mausoleum. Lunch at the local restaurant. Free time. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 08          SAMARKAND - TASHKENT (350 km)
Breakfast, drive to Tashkent. Lunch at the local restaurant. City tour of Tashkent. Visit to Applied Arts museum and old part of the city, including Barak Khan Madrasah, Tilla Shayh mosque, Chorsu bazaar. Visit to Navoi Theater. Dinner.
